Spring is Here!

It's Easter Time!

Happy Easter to all who celebrate this fine day. I personally do.

Easter is a reawakening. It's the Spring Equinox. It is a time when that which has died, rises again.

The grass returns, the leaves begin to bud, flowers bloom, and the warmth of sun is felt once again.

For myself, as well as some of you, the winter was long and cold. The season of death which was winter brought with it the end of my relationship. Feelings in me died, the likes of which I had never felt before. A fire sparked of love was extinguished and a blackness descended upon my heart.

I let my tears water the soil of my soul.

That watering washed the blackness away. As I let myself feel the pain of loss, I was made aware of the warmth of my own heart. That love never left, but merely lay dormant awaiting the warmth of the sun.

I finally allowed my eyes to open, and see that sun again. This time it was with my own eyes.

What a wonderful site to behold for the first time in my life.

I learned that that love was always with me, and as the passing of the seasons change the face of the earth, so to does my love wax and wane. I know now it is mine, to give and to receive as I allow it.

That love is within all of you. It waits for the warmth of the sun's new day to be seen by your eyes again. You nearly need open them to it, and let yourself see.
